A White Paper by the University of Tennessee Global Supply Chain Institute
More Information on this White Paper
“With the demands of today’s supply chain, it is virtually impossible to be successful without fully utilizing the brainpower and capabilities of everyone involved in supplying products/services.”
Often the simplest concepts make the biggest impact. That is true when it comes to supply chain collaboration. When teams across different functions of the supply chain work together internally and externally, their collaboration improves supply chain value and delivers results. Of course, this is easier said than done.
A research team with the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Global Supply Chain Institute conducted 17 interviews with senior supply chain leaders across right industries to compile a list of supply chain best practices. Based on their responses, we’ve compiled a list of seven best practices for driving value using end to end supply chain collaboration.
