Admissions Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or recognized equivalent outside the US

    • Bachelor’s degrees in business, economics, engineering, or related fields are preferred. 3.5 GPA is recommended (but not required) to apply. Having a B average in undergraduate coursework (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) or above is a good average to aim for.
    • 2.7 on a 4.0 scale is the minimum GPA to apply to graduate programs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
    • Applicants who have lower than a 3.0 GPA are encouraged to submit an optional statement discussing the lower GPA and how they plan to be successful in this program.
  • Experience in supply chain management or relevant fields
  • College-level Calculus and Statistics credits are ideal
  • For international applicants: equivalent of a US Bachelor’s degree and a total score of 100 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT), or a 6.5 overall band score on the IELTS.
